How do I enter my prepaid pin on my phone?

There are many ways for you to top up.   To top-up your account with the PIN(s) provided, you can use one of the three methods shown below,

  1. Login to your personal account on our website at www.lynxmobility.com/login; your prepaid number is your 10-digit cellphone number, and your password is the same as your voicemail password. From there you can see your account usage (ie. which calls have been costing you and how much), and you can use your prepaid card PIN to top up.
  2. Call the toll free # at +1 888 757 4144, and follow the instructions.

Will my Lynx Mobility cell phone work outside my community?

Lynx Mobility has reciprocal roaming agreements with other Canadian cellular service providers.  This means that your Lynx Mobility phone will provide you with service anywhere in Canada where there is coverage.

Will I have to pay roaming charges when I use my Lynx Mobility phone outside of my community?

Lynx Mobility does not charge roaming fees for calls made when customers are outside of their communities.  The standard long-distance rates will apply.

Does the Lynx Mobility service include texting and voicemail?

Yes.  The cellular service provided by Lynx Mobility includes texting, caller ID (where technology permits), call waiting, and voicemail.

Is the service pre-paid only?

The cellular service is based on a  prepaid billing platform.  Monthly packages can be bought via prepaid cards, automated top ups via credit or special arrangements are evaluated for institutional/business customers that require monthly invoicing options.

When receiving a long-distance call do I pay the long-distance rate?

No.  Calls that you receive are counted as part of the incoming call packages that you have.

Can I carry over unused minutes?

Monthly fixed price packages are valid for 30 days.

Can I roam on the Lynx Mobility network with a phone from another carrier for as long as I want?

No.  If you are staying in a community serviced by Lynx Mobility for an extensive period of time, you will need to obtain a Lynx Mobility phone.  You cannot roam indefinitely.
